Northamptonshire FA Girls Advanced Coaching Centre

Northamptonshire FA Girls Advanced Coaching Centre is the only FA Licensed centre for the England Girls Talent Pathway in the county. With players from Peterborough to Daventry we have a wide reach across the county.

The Girls Advanced Coaching Centre was set up in 2015 and will be going into it's 8th season in 2021/22. The centre hosts the best female players from across Northamptonshire from under 9's through to under 16's. Players train once a week with the centre and take part in regional fixtures against other county Advanced Coaching Centres. From within this centre players can be selected for regional events or directly into England youth squads.

We aim to provide the best learning experience we possibly can for our players to be the best players they can be and to go on to play at the highest level of football they can.

We have players in all of the youth leagues across Northamptonshire and over 100 different youth football teams. Players often wear ACC kit to their club training sessions and matches, to school and out in the community so you could have a very large reach with people seeing your company.

Our history

Northamptonshire Girls Talent Pathway started in 2005 with an FA Licensed Advanced Coaching Centre. We initially only had under 11 to under 16 girls involved in the centre and had a very small number of staff to help with the programme. The under 9 and 10 age groups were introduced to the centre in 2019, growing the centre to a minimum of 65 players every year. Currently we have almost 70 girls taking part in our programme from under 9 to under 16. The staff team has grown too, with the introduction of performance analysts, phsyical performance coaches, a sports psychologist and more football coaches to support player development. Over the last 6 seasons we have seen 38 regional camp call ups and 5 England national camp call ups for our players, demonstrating the high quality of players within the pathway.
